Economic Development

The following Economic Development Cooperation’s have collaborated to promote the standard of living and economic health of our surrounding region:

Established January 8, 1988, as a Wisconsin Non-Stock Corporation (later a 501(c)(6) corporation), the River Falls Economic Development Corporation is a voluntary non-profit organization  that  collaborates  with  City  of  River  Falls,  and other economic development agencies and partners to increase employment opportunities through industrial development.

St. Croix Economic Development Corporation was formed in 1993 and operates as the independent economic development arm for St. Croix County. Structured as an IRS 501(c)(6) not-for-profit organization, their mission is to encourage and assist economic development and capital investment, to enhance tax base, to create jobs, and to assist businesses in expansion, retention and/or location within the economic development area.

Created as a public-private partnership, the Pierce County Economic Development Corporation serves as a valuable business information and finance resource. Their mission is to work to improve the environment for business and job growth which will sustain and improve the quality of life in Pierce County.  They are happy to assist in business opportunity research.
