Bluegrass, Bourbon & Brews Festival

Join us for an unforgettable weekend of music, drinks, and community at the Bluegrass, Bourbon, and Brews Festival in River Falls! This annual event celebrates the best of bluegrass music, craft bourbon, and local brews, drawing visitors from all over. As a volunteer, you'll play an essential role in creating an exceptional experience for attendees and supporting the smooth operation of the festival.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

  • Event Setup and Breakdown: Assist with setting up booths, tents, and stage areas before the festival and help with takedown once the event concludes.
  • Guest Assistance: Welcome festivalgoers, provide event information, and ensure guests have everything they need to enjoy the festival.
  • Ticketing & Check-In: Help with ticket sales, check-in, and wristband distribution to ensure a seamless entry experience.
  • Security and Crowd Control: Help manage crowd flow, maintain safety, and assist in keeping the event fun and organized.
  • Stage Assistance: Help manage the bluegrass music stage, ensuring performers have everything they need and the audience stays engaged.

Volunteers will receive a festival T-shirt, complimentary food, and drinks, and a chance to enjoy the music and festivities during their shift.

River Falls Days

Get ready for River Falls Days, our city's largest and most beloved festival, and help make it an unforgettable experience for all! Every year, thousands of people gather to celebrate our community with parades, live music, food, games, and family-friendly activities. As a volunteer, you’ll be an integral part of bringing this exciting event to life, ensuring that everyone has a great time!

Volunteer Responsibilities:

  • Event Setup and Breakdown: Help set up the festival grounds, stages, booths, and tents before the event, and assist with clean-up after the festivities conclude.
  • Parade Support: Assist with organizing the parade lineup, helping participants get into position, and ensuring the parade runs smoothly along its route.
  • Guest Assistance: Welcome festivalgoers, provide event schedules and information, and assist with any questions or needs throughout the weekend.
  • Game and Activity Assistance: Help staff kids' activities, carnival games, and interactive booths, ensuring everyone has fun and stays engaged.
  • Food and Beverage Support: Work with food vendors and beverage stations, ensuring service is quick and efficient while keeping areas clean.
  • Stage and Entertainment Support: Assist with managing live music performances, ensuring performers have what they need and the audience enjoys the entertainment.
  • Parking and Traffic Control: Help direct vehicles and pedestrians to ensure smooth flow of traffic around the festival grounds.

Bacon & Blues Bash

This annual event brings together food lovers and music fans for a celebration of all things bacon and blues. As a volunteer, you'll play a crucial role in making this event run smoothly, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all attendees.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

  • Event Setup and Breakdown: Help set up food booths, stages, and event spaces before the festival starts, and assist with cleaning up afterward.
  • Food and Beverage Support: Work alongside food vendors, assist with serving and keeping food stations stocked, and help maintain cleanliness at food booths.
  • Guest Assistance: Greet attendees, distribute event programs and schedules, and assist with any questions or directions during the event.
  • Ticketing and Check-In: Help with ticket sales, wristband distribution, and ensuring guests have everything they need to enjoy the festival.

Experience the magic of the holiday season at River Dazzle, River Falls’ annual holiday festival that lights up our downtown with stunning displays, festive cheer, and family-friendly fun. As a volunteer, you’ll help spread the holiday spirit while assisting with events that bring the community together to celebrate this joyful time of year.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

  • Event Setup and Breakdown: Help set up festive decorations, holiday lights, booths, and activity areas before the event kicks off, and assist with clean-up after it concludes.
  • Holiday Parade Assistance: Support the planning and organization of the holiday parade, helping participants get into place and ensuring the event runs smoothly.
  • Guest Assistance: Welcome visitors, distribute event schedules, and guide attendees to various activities throughout the festival.
  • Children’s Activities: Assist with activities like holiday crafts, face painting, and other kid-friendly events that make the festival special for families.
  • Food and Beverage Support: Help vendors with food and beverage service, keeping stations stocked, and ensuring the area remains clean and organized.
